Great news for T-Mobile customers with the Samsung Galaxy S II, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be available soon. T-Mobile has just announced via their Twitter account that the update will be available on June 11th, via Samsung Kies. We’re not sure if there will be an over-the-air update or not, but for now it doesn’t sound like it.

As with the Ice Cream Sandwich updates we’ve seen for the international SGS2, don’t expect too much in the way of things looking different. Samsung is a big fan of the TouchWiz layout over the stock ICS look. But for those among us that aren’t into rooting or the custom ROM scene, you can finally enjoy Ice Cream Sandwich in stock form on the Galaxy S II T989. This also means that we’ll be seeing custom Android 4.0 ROMs for the phone based on the official stock firmware.
