AT&T confirms HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket will get Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade

Good news if you’re planning on picking up one of
AT&T’s first 4G LTE smartphones, the HTC Vivid or Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Both phones will be available tomorrow, November 6th online and in stores. Much like they
promised all 2011 devices would get Gingerbread, AT&T has recently confirmed both the Vivid and Skyrocket will receive the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012, after they have completed testing of the new firmware. Both the Vivid and the Skyrocket will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch time.
